“Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”
– Unknown
While Julie Green has dedicated herself to art since 2009, it was during the tumultuous year of 2020 that her journey as an artist shifted entirely.
At the time, she launched Piece in Chaos – online art classes that progressed to mobile painting parties – which meant to find the calm amid the storm, using art to guide you to adapt, and thrive, by tapping into the power of humanity and bringing you back into your heart to live a life of purpose and connection.
In 2024/25, her priorities were shifting as she spent a lot more time on raising her son and her Head Coach role at their family-owned fitness studio, Freeman’s Fitness Training Studio in Hornsby. So, that’s when she decided to come back to her roots and renamed everything once more, for the final time, to Julie Green – Artist.
Julie’s true core mission is to provide a source of solace, humour, and inspiration during challenging and other chaotic times, through art and nature: the vision that brings her peace and calm through it all.
Embracing chaos as part of life’s intricate tapestry helps you navigate challenges with grace and authenticity, to lead to a purposeful life.
Much love x
